Catching up with the conversation here. Reef Industrial have repaired two speedos for me. they specialise in VDO gauges and have a whole warehouse full of bits and pieces, I'd be surprised if they dont have the different cog sizes before you try make one up

Hi Freek, I have also replaced that pipe on my G. That was quite a few Km ago though and I havent had any issues. The pipes on the other side of the plastic pipe dont have lips and they would be under the same pressure, so maybe its not necessary to keep them in place?
