23 Crossings is a 4x4 Track that stretches from Fertillus to Serala. From Polokwane you travel through Chuenespoort towards Burgersfort. At the Olifants River you turn left travel on the Eastern side of the Wolkberg towards Fertillis where you take a left turn and be amazed.

One crosses the Mohlapitse River 23 times, hence the Name "23 Crossings." We have done this Trip last Month, it is a seldom used 2 Spoor which is sometimes so overgrown that one often wonders where the Road disappeared to. Cement Bridges are mostly washed away as can be seen on the 4th Photo.

Do you have more info on this route please Ernst can't find it on maps?

Clever Man! It is an Aprilia Moto 65 and yes it is a Rotax Motor. Phillip Stark was commissioned by Aprilia to design this Bike. They are very rare in Sa.

That is interesting. A fine looking machine.

I have never heard of it and, thanks for the compliment but I would have thought "stupid enough" (to be more accurate) to be very fond of my old BMW 650 X which has a similar looking motor and "Aprilia" written on quite a lot of its parts.
